Newlyn to Penzance 1 Mile
This annual event is a highlight in the local calendar. The swim course runs the length of Penzance Promenade - fantastic for spectators and participants alike. With a history of over 40 years, The Jubilee Pool are proud to keep this wonderful community event alive. In 2025 we are trialling a new setup - with the addition of a competitive wave for swimmers completing the race in under 25 minutes. 'The Original mile' is still open to all, starting from Newlyn and ending at the Jubilee Pool slipway.
Registration is from 14:00 - 16:20 in the shop.

Please note that due to tides, the Competitive course may be slightly different to the Original mile; and therefore category placings / times will not be comparable.
